Carries an Issued US Patent on the Diffuser design has an inside diameter of .875 inches / 22mm and is recommended for DC polarity applications only, It uses anywhere from 25-30 + CFH of Argon flow. It is recommended for 3/32 / 2.4mm tungsten size and carries a 180 amp rating on constant amperage. It can go higher if using pulse settings. Hand made in the USA of Borosilicate laboratory grade glass. Due to the nature of the Glass “walking the Cup“ is not recommended.
Moose Knuckle 14 Mounting
If you have a #17, #18 or #26 size torch you will need a #17 kit ,
If you have a #9 or #20 torch you will need to have a 45V44 gas lens, If you have one already you can surly use it, Keep in mind that import brands yield lower results .
Moose Knuckle 14 is recommended for Mild steel, Stainless steel, Chromoly, Titanium, Inconel and other space grade alloys. It works best on thinner /smaller to medium applications such as header tubes, chassis tubing and flat welding applications.
It is recommended you keep the diffuser the shape it comes and you remove and reinstall if it gets out of shape. Also it is recommended with all the BIG Diffuser cups that the user start off on low amps to stabilize the arc as to make sure you will not arc off diffuser. If diffuser arcing occurs you will have to clean/regrind the tungsten. You will not hurt the diffuser on low amps but if arc with high amps you can deteriorate the Diffuser. Also be careful not to drop or hit cups against hard objects being we all know the nature of glass.

A few tips
Keep tungsten clean at all times
Start arc at a low amperage , Establish Arc on tip of tungsten then roll into the desired amperage, If arc wanders clean tungsten or damage to the Screen Diffuser is possible.
Keep screen in the shape it comes with and try not to deform the screen, If screen replacement is needed make sure Screen is sealed against the walls of the cup or undesired results may occur.

This is for 17 and 18 torches only. It can fit on 26 but you may have to run without an insulator. All torches are slightly different especially when it comes to the 17,18,26 size torches because all the manufacturers have their own idea on construction and we cannot guarantee the insulator will fit on every torch made in different countries but the Cup will screw on and can be used.
The Ally5 cups is an AC/DC polarity cup and has an amperage rating of 200 amps,
It is my “go to” cup when im welding thinner aluminum assemblies and need great visibility. It is made of Quartz laboratory grade glass and can withstand the high heat environments associated with welding on AC. Be careful not to slam cup and we do not recommend “walking the cup” with any Furickcups made of glass.
All glass cups are subject to pick up dirt and debris as are ceramic style cups. Use these accordingly and try to refrain from welding on dirty /oily applications that would spit back at glass and impede visibility.
Note only the Slit style collets will be compatible with the ally5 cups

To install use provided oring and install on the brass BBWSG-19 Diffuser housing. Moisten the inside of the Glass cup and around the oring and gently push in . Be careful and do not force the Brass housing . If its difficult use more moisture .

The Fupa series of cups fits on a 45V44 and a 17kit Please see the Identify page to determine your torch size . You may need to purchase an adapter kit for your 17 torch
We recommend if you have a #9 or #20 torch you get a brand name 45V44 some of the import brands yield poor results .
The Fupa series is recommended only for DC applications and is rated up to 200 non continuance amps. It is also for 3/32 -2.4mm tungsten size only.
NOTE: the Diffusers in the cups are designed to work only with the Furickcup brand cups. We also recommend you buy a few spare diffusers to have, they are somewhat consumables and will eventually need to be replaced, The diffussers must be installed like you received them installed and must seal tightly around the cup or you will have poor results. They are designed to have a gap between the 2 layers of screens and it is recommended you install them back that way, It may take a few tries to get the screens in properly but have patience , The cupped side goes in first .
