DEI Protect-A-Boot Ringless Sleeves are uniquely designed to protect spark plug boots & wires against the harmful effects of direct and continuous heat - up to 1200F. Continued exposure to extreme heat generated from the engine block, exhaust manifold and headers can cause burn through, hardening or cracking of the spark plug wires and boots.

Titanium Protect-A-Boots(TM) XL are the latest in thermal protection technology for spark plug boot protectors. Developed from a unique material mined from lava rock stranded and woven into a proprietary weave for added durability and strength yet is pliable enough to provide a universal fit for straight or angled boots. Titanium Protect-A-Boots XL are naturally resistant to heat, chemicals, abrasions and contaminants, and are engineered to withstand temperatures up to 1800F (983C) of direct heat.
